Mari Clemmer- I just graduated from Ohio State in June with a B.S. in Zoology and I am currently residing in New Hampshire starting my Master's program in Conservation Biology.

Rebecca Trombley - In my last year of college working towards my BSN in Nursing/RN. Working at UTMC hospital and planning on getting my Masters in Nursing and becoming a certified nurse midwife.

Class of 1989

Rebecca Turner - I am an attorney. I live in wine country - Napa, California. Most of my free time is spent showing and breeding my Silky Terriers, on of whom is nationally ranked and was invited to the prestigious Westminster KC Show this year.

Class of 1982

Tiffany White Smith - Currently an IT Manager for National City Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. Reside in Twinsburg, OH with my husband of 18 years and my 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter. Have worked in the Information Technology field for the past 20 years, beginning with a career with IBM. Previously owned a computer technology franchise, was a technical instructor for IBM, and taught technical classes at Cuyahoga Community College. Former U.S. Army Reserve Captain. B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology; MBA (expected completion in April 2009).

Katherine Colucci Russell - Hi all. I’m living in Rocky River , OH with my husband Michael (structural engineer) and my son Morgan (11yo) and daughter Ariel (8yo). We are Baha’is. I re-tread professionally after being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. With a BS in Psychology, I added an RN and now am working on a masters. I hope to graduate 2010 with my advance practice degree and work as an adult nurse practitioner. I volunteer at the Free Clinic and work for the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. I lived in Chicago for about 10 years. Hi Heidi Widmar

Clara Schweers Deemer - We're keeping up with our 9 grandchildren; last year we went on a cruise thru the Panama Canal; this year we are remodeling our kitchen and dining room. Enjoying our retirement years. Would enjoy hearing from classmates from class of 1956.

Alice Crocker - From her pastor: Alyce asked that we inform you of her passing. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008 at her home in Bodfish, Ca. Alyce served many years as a teacher of literacy to her community both in the Kern River Valley and the Baldwin Park area of California. She was proud of her years at Andrews and how it prepared her for life. Alyce also proudly served her country in the US Army, two of those years served in Japan.

Stephanie Luff - I continue to work as an attorney in Pittsburgh. My practice focuses on litigating cases through state and federal administrative agencies. My boyfriend and I enjoy traveling whenever our busy schedule permits. We are planning a European vacation next spring. I would love to hear from more Class of 1998 alums!

Cara Pollice Gaboury - Worked in Seattle, met my husband, had our little daughter Piper who is now almost 4 years old! Still working for Philips Healthcare, but moved back to the Willoughby area in 2006. Recently promoted to Sr. Operations Manager. I'm thinking about sending Piper to Andrews for Pre-K!

Maria Mapa Barfield - Husband and I moved back to Ohio...Granville (near columbus). Moved into our new home and are both physicians working at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Julianne Jereb Hayes - I've worked at General Dynamics for 18 years in Scottsdale, Arizona as a business operations analyst. My husband Steve and I have been together 21 years (no children), all in the Phoenix area. Good memories of Andrews.

Class of 1966

Jennifer Daniels Foster -  I am still having fun working as a Receptionist for ADP. I now have four grand children. My children and grand children also live in but a few hours south of me. My husbands children and grand children still live on Long Island in NY. My husband is retired and enjoys his every moment. We are members of the United States Sail and. My husband teaches Basic Boating classes to the public, I assist. If a person decides to join the Squadron, they can take further boating classes. I would love to hear from classmates and would try to respond. I sometimes don't get to read e-mail for days at a time but eventually get to it.

Heidi Dalrymple Jantzen - I did not graduate with my class because I transfered to Interlochen Arts Academy after my fourth year. I would still like to get in touch with those I went to school with. Strong bonds are made when at boarding school.

Annette Rovacchi Walker - Although I didn't actually graduate from Andrews, I attended two years, Freshman and Sophomore years and would have graduated in 1969.  I ended up going to Collinwood Junior and Senior years.  You may also remember Nicoletta Siciliano who was my roommate and good friend from Collinwood.  My sister, Patty Rovacchi, graduated in 1966.  I've been out of touch but am going to be in Cleveland the first two weeks of August for a high school reunion and was wondering if any of you from my class or my sister's class remember me and would like to get together. I would so very much love to see you.  Please e-mail me at awalker@manatt.com to get together.

Sandy Vitez Ensman - Hi to all, Was in Ohio briefly and was able to walk the old campus, sure brought back many happy memories. The bad part is that two of my brothers have cancer and one is terminal. Glad I was able to be there for encouragement and to see the family. On a lighter note... anyone interested in spending some time in Florida? Your dream place by the Gulf of Mexico or anywhere in Lee County can be yours, with my help. It is a GREAT time to buy so contact me, please send me friends or family names and I will do the rest. Thank you for you referral it is appreciated. Kimberly Szuter Hayes - I am currently a student at University of Phoenix online school. I am obtaining my degree in Health Administration Long-Term Care. I will be receiving my associates degree in June 2008. I am currently a nurse working in a long-term/rehabilitation center. My husband and I just recently bought a house this past February and are loving it. I have three children- Stephen, 22; Jonathan, 19; and Virginia, 12 going on 30! My husband is on disability but he was also a nurse. I hope to hear from my fellow classmates. It is hard to believe we have been out of school for 24 years now.

Deb Keller Switzer - Hi Ladies, we are still working on a 30 yr. class reunion.  The early planning stages are looking like August or Sept.  If anyone wants to come, please call me or email me.  My info should be on the class reps. page.  I have heard from a few ladies and I'm so excited!

A little about me now.  We are getting ready for a possible wedding next year.  My youngest son is engaged and I'm thrilled.  Even though his fiance and him have a daughter already.  He is finally making it official.  She is a beautiful child named Payton and is 2 1/2 yrs. old.  My older son has a daughter too named Lexi and she will be 8 in June.  Really makes me feel old.  I have a great life and God has truly blessed us all.  I hope you as well.  Please let me know if you can come to the reunion.  Also, anyone from other classes if you would like to come, please let me know.  We would love to have you.  We get very close to the classes around us don't we. Sandra Fedor Perry - Moved back to Ohio 12/1998, after living in N. Carolina since 1986. Daughter Stacie(24)got married 5/19/2007. Son Daniel(18) graduated from Perry High 6/3/2007, and still living at home. I work at Metz dining at Lake Erie College. I do like it. Would like to be in touch with other classmates. Karen Hall Larson - I can't believe that it's been 38 years since graduation!! My children are grown and on their own. My daughter Carlyn is 26 and got married last year. She and her husband are teachers. My son Chris is 23, still single, and a auto technician with Audi. My parents are still living and are in reasonably good health. My husband and I moved to Port Orange, Fl. three years ago. We fortunately live about a mile from my parents. I am currently a third grade teacher in a private school in Ormond Beach. I received by graduate and undergraduate degrees from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. I would love to hear from other 1970 graduates.

Cheryl Faulkner Kelly - I have been living mostly in the San Francisco, East Bay area of California since graduation. I am a wife and the mother of 2 children. The oldest, a girl, almost 27, her name is Harmony. The youngest , a boy, almost 18, his name is James like his father. I am also a Grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter who is 7 1/2, her name is Savannah Alise. She is truly a treasure and smart! I moved into the occupation of antique dealer and loving it! Getting to spend money for a living is the greatest... and making money for it is even better. Give me a jingle when you get a chance, I would love to hear from my old classmates.

Maureen Maier Fortner - Since graduation I got married, had eight kids, home-schooled all of them; ran a small dog grooming business from my home.

Sue Cisar - I would like to say "Hi" to everyone, and thank all of you who have worked so hard on the "Andrews Cruise Reunion" Your efforts  have not gone unnoticed. What a wonderful way to get all of us together. I would also like to give a  special "Thank You" to our class reps, Becky and Sara for their time in contacting us. I  hope many of you will beable to come on the cruise and catch up on the last 30 years .

I will try to catch you up (in a nutshell) on what I have been doing over the past years. Upon graduating from Andrews, I attended Marietta College where I obtained a BA degree in Physical Education,and a minor in Health Ed. I went an additonal year to get an Interdiciplinary Degree in Recreation Administration and the Fine Arts.

Ashley Shank - I'm currently finishing my fourth year at the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH. I will be graduating May 2009 with a bachelors in Biology and Spanish, and I will be attending medical school Fall of 2009. I decided to visit the Andrews-Osborne website and was very please with all the information posted. It's exciting to see how the school has changed in just the past four years. I was a dedicated rider at Andrews and it is where I learned to be an excellent rider. I thoroughly enjoyed Interscholastic and Drill Team and am quite pleased to see how these programs have continued and grown bigger. I am definately proud to say I graduated from Andrews. The facilities are phenomenal and I love seeing people's reactions when I show them where I went to high school and where I learned to ride.

Jerritta Kyser-Terry - I have 2 wonderful children.I have been working as an elementary teacher for the past 11 years. I hold a doctorate in Theology.I am the Pastor of Truth Bible Ministries in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ilove to cook and travel.

Deborah Keller Switzer - It has been too many years since I have seen or spoken to a classmate and I would love to get in touch with some. I work for Richland County in Mansfield, OH and have 2 boys and 2 granddaughters. I would enjoy talking to a classmate about a 30 year reunion this year.

Class of 1974

Karen Valinske Kappelman - Ten years ago I was single, just in my forties, and worked in a sales position which provided me a very comfortable livelihood in exchange for the long hours and job related stress. I was happy but I knew there was something missing in the experience. Today I am single, just in my fifties, and work as a substitute teacher to make ends meet while I go to school full time to earn a BA in education. I love teaching, but I didn't know I would feel that way when I stepped into the profession. I chose to make the career change for four specific reasons... Anna, Colton, Bradley, and Hunter, my four special needs children whom I have adopted over the past eight years.

I wanted to make a difference for good and I wanted to be a mother; I decided to adopt through the foster care program so I could give a home to children who probably would have no other opportunity to be adopted. I didn't know what to expect, I let my faith guide me. I am now the mother to a beautiful young lady (9 yrs) and a sibling group of three energetic brothers (9, 7, 5 yrs). They have learning disabilities resulting from their exposure, before birth, to methamphetamines but they have the most loving, gracious, and sparkling personalities (and intelligence!) for which a mother could hope!

I wanted a profession that would allow me to be more available mentally, emotionally, and physically for my children. Short of being a stay at home Mom, which was not a reality since I am not married, teaching was the best option; I could work the same hours my children were in school and have off the same vacation time, therefore reducing my daycare costs and allowing us to build a life on a more modest salary (like a teacher's salary!) This choice, however, required me going back to school since I had never finished college. Now my children have the added experience of learning how important an education and finishing college can be for providing choices in the future. It was for my children that I made this change in my livelihood, but in the process I have discovered a job and a career that I am excited about. I love teaching, and look forward to having my own classroom!

You might see me as a non-traditional student, non-traditional mother, even a non-traditional teacher, but I am anything but non-traditional. I am an Andrews graduate, and today I live my life and raise my children so accordingly. My life means more to me today than it did ten, or even twenty, years ago for the purpose it has in the opportunity to contribute to a greater good. If that isn't traditional, what is?

Andrews has a new face today. At one time I imagined the daughter I might one day have would be able to attend Andrews, as my mother (Lavada Drake Valinske '51) and I did; never did I dream my sons might have the same opportunity! I know many alumni have had to make great leaps emotionally and mentally to accommodate this change. As for me, I am grateful for my life experience which allows me to recognize this as a natural transition, and one of which, I believe, Mr. and Mrs. Andrews would approve. It is unfortunate that my children will not have the opportunity to attend the Andrews Osborne Academy, but they will know its story through my mother and me; and I trust they will be just as fascinated with the story of Andrews as I was as a young child.

Nancy Reed Gregori - After I left Andrews, I was able to stay home and raise my children. As they got older, junior high and senior high, I went back to school and got my nursing degree. I enjoy my job and the people I work with. My grandchildren are a delight, and I have the most awesome man in my life. The flip side to all the wonderful things in my life is that my oldest son has cancer, it is extremely rare and the prognosis is as lousy as can possibly be. But, with God, all things are possible.

Linda Fasham Kimberly - Married for 34 years. Currently employed as Administrative Secretary to the City Engineer of the City of Mentor. Have one son, Jeffrey, 24 years old, who lives in Zeigler, IL and is minister at the First Christian Church.

Jiyeon Hwang - I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. After 7 years studying in US, I came back to Korea last year and got a job at Chrysler Korea.

Class of 1998

Candice Nelson Collins - In December of 2004 I graduated from UNLV with a BA in Fine Arts. Since then I have been pursuing a career in Property Management. In December of 2006 I was married and in June of 2007 I had my first Son. We are currently trying to get pregnant with our second child.

Class of 1988

Leona Swan Schmauch - After working in Fiduciary Operations at Bank One for 5 years, I took a career at Pilkington AGR (glass manufacturing company) and this will be my 6th year as the Fleet & Facilities Manager. In the early part of April 2005, I went to the doctor for what I thought was a tumor; much to everyone’s surprise on July 7th, 2005 I gave birth to a 4lb 13oz girl named Kendra Mae Schmauch. On June 24, 2006 Marc & I got married at sunset on the beach in Florida. We still live in Columbus, Ohio with our two daughters; Jessica (14) and Kendra (2½). Marc recently returned from his 4th Air Force tour from Iraq and will be retiring as Senior Master Sergeant from the military with 24 years service and solely concentrating on the business we started 5 years ago. I enjoy life to the fullest with my husband and our two daughters, not taking a moment for granted…everything else in life is a bonus.

Melissa Wardwell Kelley - I have been divorced for 15 years and have 2 great daughters. Helen 19 is a freshman at Ohio State and Alex is a senior at Cleveland Heights High School. I am a manager at Vidstar Video and have worked there for 14 years, I also work at a great bakery called On The Rise in Cleveland Hts. Class of 1970 Patricia A. (Tichenor) Petro - We have gotten sad news that Patricia passed away in February, 2008.

Class of 1968

Janice Gonso Rubertino - I am semi-retired, driving a school bus and loving it. My husband, Dominick and I went to Italy last Christmas and had the priviledge to sing at the Vatican for the Pope. My husband is retired and we enjoy traveling. Life is good.

Class of 1967

Dayna Hanzel Meshginpoosh - Since my husband, Manoochehr, retired from the medical practice in Geneva, Ohio 5 years ago, I too have retired per his request. I still like my volunteer work and will not give that up. I have been on the Auxiliary Board at Univeristy Hopsitals Geneva Medical Center for 15 years, 10 of those years I have been President of the Auxiliary. I never thought I would be able to organize all the fundraisers that we have but some how I have found the courage to ask for funds to help our organization. I also volunteer for Breast Cancer. My sister has been a survivor since 1996. I have 3 sons, Mark, Ramin and Zubin. Mark has given us a beautiful grandson, Tyler Kaveh who is now 6 years old. Ramin and Zubin are both married for several years. Mike, my husbands nickname for Manoochehr, and I have been married for 37 years. Not bad for a blind date. My hobbies are ofcourse volunteering, cooking Perisan dishes, gardening, sewing, photography and family. Mike and I have been photographer and done videos for our friends weddings. My husband is quite the electronics buff and right now he is putting all our family videos on discs. He loves to use his computers to do all the fancy set ups that the professionals do. Wendy Greer Stephenson - In November I moved from Charlotte, NC to Lynchburg, VA and am rehabing an older home in the historic destrict. I find this very rewarding.

Virginia Welfare Johnson - Yippee! I retired from working last March and am now doing my artwork at home as well as my Registered Paint Horse Breeding. I have eleven horses that keep me very busy. I breed, sell and train and have an awesome Black and white Stallion standing at stud. Would love to hear from y'all! Gina

Sandra Bremser Lanzi - I retired in May of 2006 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where I worked as an Account Tec II in the Provost's Office. I am enjoying scrapbooking, stampn' cards, and my grandchildren. My husband will be celebrating his 86th birthday the 23rd of this month. I lost my son in a car accident June 16, 2006. He was 42 years old. I would love to hear from some of my classmates.

Joyce Robinson Dirrman - Glad to say I've joined the ranks of "the RETIRED" - did so on July 1st, 2006 and loving it! Had both knees replaced and doing fine...can walk pain-free! Am currently serving as Campaign Treasurer for State Representative Lorraine M. Fende, 62nd District and am a Volunteer in Medical Records at Lake West Hospital where I am still able to utilize my "business skills" - Hooray. Am seriously considering looking into medical transcriptionist for home work. In addition, am busy providing caregiving to my husband, Richard of 52 years - Dick has Advanced COPD w/emphysema. Welcomed new Granddaughter, Caylee, born to my son Richard Jr. and his wife, Jennifer on March 1st of '07 (my 6th grandchild). Enjoy many pleasureable luncheons with several local area alum and will make a point to send photos as soon as I remember how to utilize scanner. Love the website and thank you for same. I also had the privilege of encouraging another (my 3rd) individual, Alyssa to enter into Andrews - she absolutely loves it and from what I hear - her equestrian talents are outstanding...way-to-go Alyssa! Would encourage any alumnae who remember Jan (Sarvis) Kurzy to keep her in your prayers - Jan battling cancer and would welcome prayer/support. Maria Perossa - I am currently in my second semester at John Carroll University. I am studying Marketing for now, although I may end up persuing a degree in Communications with a Journalism concentration. Overall I am happy here and I expect to continue doing well.

Anna Carterette Logan – I have been working at the Paper-Source for the past couple of years. Joined the Navy, and leave next month to begin training with the construction units!

Lynnette Freeman-Maïga - Grad School at the Brown/Trinity Consortium for my MFA in Acting. I got married to Husband Sidy Maïga.

Stephanie Luff - I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002, took a year off and attended law school at Widener University School of Law. Since graduating in 2006, I passed the PA bar examination and currently practice law as a workers' compensation attorney in Pittsburgh.

Lisa Gridiron Timley - I moved to Columbus in August 2007, and Love It. I have two kids a girl, 11 and a boy, 9. I work for Franklin County Courts.

Class of 1988

Emily Burgess Felvus - After West Point and nine and a half years in the Army, I resigned and became a full time Mom- which is a challenging, great time. My husband Jay (retired from the Army)and I and our three daughters live in Germany, and have for about 12 years, but come back to visit yearly and will be moving back soon, I hope! It's a nice place to visit but my heart's in Ohio.

Linda Wright Wintersteller - My husband Mike and I are parents of 3 sons; Jack - 13, Adam - 9, Clay - 8 and a fourth son due this winter. Along with being a wife, mother, scout leader, soccer coach, driver to our sons various sports and events, and a homemaker - I also am a Naturalist at the Lake Metroparks in Lake County, Ohio. Life is very busy and fun.

Nancie Strokes Ennis - I live about 20 miles south of Tucson, AZ. I live on a small ranch with my husband and son. I've been an office manager for a writer/publisher for 12 years. I also assist my husband in his contracting business. We enjoy riding ATV's and motorcycles and traveling when we can. I'm enjoying the sunny weather here in Arizona.

Jennifer Hungerford McDowell - Raising two teenagers, a 16 year old daughter and a 13 year old son. I work full time in Accounting, do extensice Volunteer work, and try to have some time for myself.

Bonnie Furey Boehnlein - Hi, I work in a Adult Day Care Center where I take care of the elderly. They stay for the day while their family members go to work or take care of business. I have been there for 17 years. It is very rewarding, and I enjoy helping them and making their lives a little happier. I will be married for 17 years on May 11th this year. My husband and I live in Euclid for 12 years. We have two dogs and two cats that nobody wanted.

Nancy Busam Pacosky - I have been married for 23 years to a wonderful man. We have two grown children so now I have a life. We travel some,enjoy gardening, walking and making wine. I have owned my own Tailoring business for 25 years and enjoy the freedom it allows. I am very active in the church and have been teaching Sunday School for 14 years. I also am involved in bible study and on the Education Committee. We have a 14 year old Golden Retriever and I just inherited a Bichon Frise who is 7 years old, high maintinance! Dorothy Zimmerman Blyth - Dorothy Passed away on January 8, 2008 in Beverly Ohio. She is survived by her Husband David, Three sons and three grand daughters. She always had fond and special memories for Andrews School.

Sad News from Ronnie Roerig Wilson '42

It's with great sorrow I report the death of my good friend and 1942 Alum, Margaret "Peg" Spirakus (nee Taddie). She was 83.

Peggy died Christmas Eve, December 24, 2007 at Sun Health Boswell Rehabilitation Center in Sun City Arizona.  She has battled the effects of rheumatoid arthritis for many years and moved to Sun City from Euclid 18 years ago. She leaves her husband, Stanley; children Patricia Mazure (Michael) of Trenton, Michigan, Catherine Duer of Willoughby, and Frank "Bo" Spirakus (Mary) of Chandler, AZ; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, the sixth being born on this Christmas day 2007.

Thanks for the Andrews web site.  I was aware of the “merger” of the other school with Andrews!  Obviously, I have mixed emotions about it, as probably everyone else does. However, it sounds as though poor Andrews was really struggling and we can’t have that either.

I have been in the process of a lot of changes myself.  After 26 years in the Advertising Agency biz, I am now in my own business in Real Estate. You can check out my web site at www.sarahibbard.com  OR www.atlantametroarearealestate.com

Lately, there have been a few problems with the 2nd link so use the first one and make sure your speakers are on when you enter for the full affect.  I did real well last year (my first productive year) with 18 closings and about 3.5 million in total sales volume!

Melissa Bellar Morehart – “Just after college I worked for Royal Caribbean as the first woman on board to do IT. I was married in June of 06 and my husband and I bought our first house in January and had a son in April. I am now a center director for Sylvan Learning. We keep busy with the little one and the new house. I had an Andrews girl come through my SAT program. It was nice getting some inside scoop on the current events at the school.”

Heidi Widmar Zaksheske - Since graduation I have been busy with my three kids, Jennifer 20, Joseph 16 and Julia 14 and their activities. I also work full-time as a registered nurse on a step-down unit at Swedish American Hosptial in Rockford. I would love to hear from my Andrew's friends.

Margie Crawford - I am currently living in Flint, MI and have been since June, 2005. I am still looking for Mr. Right, but I am very, very, picky. My son (adopted) is now 14 and a freshman in high school. He is very active in the local theater and plans (for the present) a career in the fine arts. I am currently serving as the Associate Pastor at Court Street United Methodist Church in Flint. I will be reappointed to another church early next year. The meetings for my next appointment haven't happened yet. I received my degree in ministry in May of 2005. I attended seminary near Columbus for two years. I am still an audiologist, but have not practiced since I entered the ministry. I am hoping that as I move on to the next church I can have more time to do some teaching at a local college.

My mom is 87 and is still preptty spry for a woman very close to 90. Adrienne, our niece who went to Andrews, lives with her. I don't get home as often as I would like. I try to get home a couple of times a year. Lynn and her husband are doing well. She's stil working at University Hospitals. Her eldest daughter is enrolled at Emory in Atlanta. The other two can't wait to go to college.

Ann Lorenz Garton -"Greetings everyone! I'm presently living in Davenport, Iowa with my husband (David), son (Eamon) and two dogs and two cats. As many of you know after college I worked at Andrews for a few years. I really enjoyed working with the present barn crew of Roxane, Molly, Mike and Charlene. My husband was then transferred to Houston where we spent a year and then transferred to Davenport. With all the moving I decided to utilize my nursing degree and am presently working at a local hospital on the orthopaedic floor and have just returned to school - hopefully to earn my masters in nursing in the near future. Yes, my mom is still one of the school nurses at Andrews. I have included my email as I look forward to hearing from fellow classmates and past students"!

Pam Shick - "Disabled due to PMS, Pam's multiple sclerosis, but certainly not helpless. Mother to one cat. I lost my parents, Mom died August from a stroke Dad had a stroke too and died in April. If anyone wants to e-mail me, feel free!"

Rebecca Kalich Gephart - "I am currently working for the Elster Group located in Essen, Germany as a Global Resin Commodity Manger. I am responsible for all resins used in the North/South America and Europe business units. When not traveling, I am very lucky and work from my house. I married Jim Gephart in 1987 and we just celebrated our 20th anniversary. Jim has worked at Lincoln Electric for 30 years and hopes to retire very soon. I think this website is great..hopefully it will bring us alum closer together…looking forward to hearing all the news."

Jane Hyde Murphy - "Married 26 years to my hubby Mike. Katie and Kevin our twins are 16 years old and both doing well in school... Working here and there, a full time mom Never a dull moment. I try to keep in touch with some of my classmates, over the years have heard through the grape wine on a few.. Carol Witwer Fynn - Greetings to old classmates of 1967-8: I am completing my 35th year of teaching at Kirtland High School, which is just down the hill from Andrews. I teach AP English 12 and also psychology, just like Miss Gray did when we were seniors! With my husband, David, who is from Zimbabwe, I have led groups of students and friends on thirty trips abroad. We specialized in the African safari and the Far East, but we've really covered the globe. The determination to see the world certainly began with Miss Feagle's French class and was furthered by travelogues during some of those "Chapels" which made Mon, Wed, and Fri such long days.

In June 2008, I will retire with David to North Carolina where we have a home on the inner banks in Elizabeth City. Our daughter is a doctor in Chapel Hill, NC; and our son is in law school in Florida. So I guess we are all heading south although I leave this area with a good deal of reluctance. It's hard to close the chapter on my fifty-seven years centered in school and career in Willoughby.

Is there anyone else out there in North Carolina? Our home will always be open to old classmates. I can say that I remember Andrews with fondness and gratitude although those were not very happy years for me due to many other factors. I think I was better off at Andrews than I would have been at any other local school; and it gave me advantages in manners, poise, household skills, and even ballroom dancing which took me into some rare opportunities which I would not have accessed otherwise.

In closing, I pause to share the grief of losing our dear friend, Margaret "Putsy" Beal, who was a policewoman in Kirtland most of the time I taught there. Best wishes to all, Carol Witwer Fynn

Liz Kaptein O'Brien - "Lived in Clearwater area of Florida for 17 years, moved back to Ohio in 2002. Am working at my husbands granite company as a designer and bookkeeper. I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I design jewelry and am into quilting at the moment. Would love to hear from some of my old classmates."

Karen Wurster Good - We live in Estes Park, Colorado in the summer, and Green Vallley, AZ in the winter. I have been doing benfits for the University of Arizona's Cancer Center Research Dpt. In the last 9 years we have raised over $200,000.00. I pick the researcher I choose to fund. Our fields of research have been primarily lung cancer, breast cancer, and Lymphoma. It has been very gratifying. My husband and I are both cancer survivors and it is our goal to help more folks become survivors. In Colorado we will in a log cabin on 120 acres of timber. It is a full time job just keeping up with that. We have given 40 acres to a conservation easement to preserve it as open space forever. In AZ we enjoy the winter months, golfing, hunting and raising money. Life is good for the GOOD family.

I'm married and my husband is pursuing his BA, I have my BA in psychobiology and my masters in occupational therapy. I love my job and my life. I perform in Renaissance fairs for fun and am learning to belly dance."

Jackie Schierloh - "I reside in a cute little house in Eastlake, Ohio. In this housing buyer's market I have recently bid on a house in Wickliffe, Ohio & am keeping my fingers crossed at the prospect of owning my first home! I have been working in commercial retail real estate brokerage with Kelly & Visconsi Associates in Woodmere, Ohio. We broker lease & land purchase deals for retail & restaurant clients in Northeast Ohio. I have been with KVA for 8 years & have enjoyed working in this industry for over 12 years. Before I started my career in the real estate industry I was able to do some extensive travel via a short stint modeling. I was lucky enough to travel to Europe & see Paris, Milan & other parts of Italy, central America, as well as all over the US. I have a 22 year old daughter, Sarah, who was recently married. She & my SIL Kenny have an 8 month old daughter & together they live in southern Ohio. She is a pediatric dental hygienist & he is a fireman. My parents are living in Shaker Heights, Ohio. My father retired as a Methodist minister 4-5 years ago and spends his time volunteering at an inner-city Cleveland school, St Matin de Porres. My mother still works at age 70 as a career guidance counselor at Tri-C Metro Campus in Cleveland with no thoughts of slowing down. They both tell me staying active helps to keep them young! I look forward to hearing from some of you & hope to see you at some Andrews events."

Gayle Burns Jones – "I have been married (almost twenty years) to Alan. We have a daughter Courtney, a sophomore at Andrews Osborne. We are living in Painesville Twp. I am still working part time at Broadmoor School in Mentor, as well as what has turned into, a home health care business out of my home. I am still great friends with Debbie Guynn Mills and Tracey Whipple Balante, but would love to hear from anyone from the class of 1981."

Christine Boisvenue - Hello from sunny Florida! I have lived here in Florida for 13 years. I have two grown daughters ages 26 & 27. No grandkids yet...but 2 grand dogs! Our animals become our children it seems when our kids leave the house! My youngest daughter Mellissa is married and my oldest returned home to save up money so she could move to Vegas next year! I'm hoping to have my 50th birthday party there next year. Vegas is great! I am divorced and went back to my maiden name. I hope to continue to go back for another alumnae banquet but probably not until the 35th...at least if I'm still living. :) If anyone is living in Florida and wants to get together, please call me! Even if you want to vacation down here my home is always open!

Jennifer Sizer Kindinger - I am a physician recruiter for Hocking Valley Community Hospital. I also oversee four medical offices with eight doctors and staff. It keeps me quite busy with never a dull moment. My husband, Mike, and I enjoy going to Key West at least once a year for a week of R & R. We got to go to the Dry Tortugas last spring which was really fun. Mike has been teaching at Logan High School for 24 years. My youngest son, Dylan, graduates from high school this year (05/08). My other son, Ryan, is a graphic designer in Powell, Ohio. Family vacations are routinely held on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I don't make it to northern Ohio very often but love receiving alumni news. It would be great if everyone would send in their news!

Kathy Toolis Begue - I am in my 23rd year teaching elementary school. I teach for Minerva Local Schools, grades 3/4 math. I am married to Don, and have a 23 year old daughter, Emily, who graduated in 2006 from Mount Union and teaches 3rd grade outside of Atlanta.

Suzanne Chapin Speyer - "Currently work as the College Tech Prep Admissions Coordinator at Lakeland Community College. Married for 21 years to Paul Speyer, whom I met while I was in college, with 3 children: daughter Markee, 19 attends Ohio University, daughter Lindsey 16, goes to Riverside High School and son Zach, 14 also attends Riverside High School. I just turned 50 and can proudly say I've taken up running!"

Kathi Carroll Maness - "I'm in my eighth year teaching special ed at our local high school. I have a bachelor degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Special Ed. My oldest, Nina,(23) moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue her acting career. My middle daughter, Sammy,(21) will graduate from college in May with her Mechanical Engineer Degree. My son (19) is living at home trying to decide what to do with his life."

Olivia Kriebl - "I am currently working at Aetna in HR in Executive Talent Development - what is this you say? It is working with senior leadership to improve their leadership capabilities, building leaders across the organization to make sure we have internal talent to take over senior roles and to ensure we build strong leadership and management people. It is developing, coaching, etc people - I love it! Prior to this I had my own consulting business for 4 years but missed the "team atmosphere" of being in a company. I am divorced, have a son age 15 ( he is a wonderful young man)and daughter 23 (she lives and works in San Francisco). Life is good! My sister Karen who also attended Andrews lives in FL with her husband and two children and my sister Jennifer also past Andrews alumni is doing well and lives in San Francisco with a wonderful man."

June Koogler Kleinsorge - "I own an Antique store and Liquidate estates at 9959 Chillicothe Rd., Kirtland,Ohio. The store I own is a home that was built in 1791. I love it,and is a really a great place to sell Antiques. This last year I have bought another home that was built in 1840 in Kirtland just down the street from my store. I am going to live in this house. So stop by the store,we are open Wed.-Sun.11-5."

Mary Ann Herman Morse - "On May 26th I married Brad Morse, a widower from Chagrin Falls. While I was at Andrews he was attending US. We now say we went to different schools together. Together we have four adult children, his son Greg went to U.S. and his daughter, Tracy graduated from Laurel. My daughters, Libby and Pam graduated from Andrews. Brad and I, having spent time in CA when we were younger, and loving the Southern CA. area, decided to retire in Laguna Niguel. We plan to celebrate the holidays there with our children and grandchildren. We will keep homes in St. Petersburg, Fla. and the Cleveland area. Happy Holidays to all, Mary Ann"

Bernice Span Bohusch - "We have been living in Medina, Ohio for 7 years. Glen retired in 2000. We are enjoying our hobbies, he is doing more woodworking and I continue to sew every chance I get. We both love winter sports, Glen on a snowboard and me on skis. We have been able to get together with the "Club 57" gals a few times and spent time with them for our 50th. We have been traveling whenever we can. Our oldest daughter and her husband and boys live in Troy Mich. She is a research scientist with Henkel Corp working with the metal forming industry. her husband manages a Walking Shoe Company Store. Our middle daughter is stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah and is a Flight Commander in the Medical Corps. Her husband flies for Jet Blue. Having them live 10 minutes from Snowbasin lets us ski and snowboard any time we visit during the winter. Our youngest daughter is living in the Cleveland area and does web design and maintenance. She has another year of study to complete her Masters Degree."

Charlene Foster Burnett - Passed away October 14, 2007. Charlene was suffering from Alzheimer's disease and had been living in a nursing home in Pennsylvania for the past seven years. Her family suggests contributions to the Scholarship Fund.

Ronnie Roerig Wilson - The Andrews legacy continues in the RONNIE ROERIG WILSON (class of 1942) family. Ronnie's granddaughter, RILEY ANN MESSINA, graduated from Andrews in 1999, and now Ronnie's daughter, KATHLEEN DEW ("Miss Kate") who recently returned to Ohio from Colorado, is the Houseparent in the St. John House. Ronnie also reports that RILEY ANN is very happy living in Chicago where she is a floral designer and enjoys being active in numerous theater groups.

Heather Shorten Francis - "I have been married for 3 years, and have one son. He turned one year old on October 6. My husband and I have lived in Maryland, outside of Washington, DC for almost 7 years. I am a Social Worker working for Washington, DC Child and Family Service."

Bonnie Listak Diczhazy - I graduated in 1997 from Lake Erie College with a BA in English. I have worked for the Cleveland Free Times and Notre Dame College. I am now a stay-at-home mom to my 11-month old daughter. In my spare time I am a Lensmaster on Squidoo, a Digital Artist and the webmaster for the Andrews Alumnae Association website.

Heather Yanda - "I've just started my tenth year teaching at Alfred University, the small liberal arts college I graduated from, in upstate New York. I live in a great little house tucked away in the woods with my big, happy dog. I'm writing (poetry mostly -- something that started at Andrews), and I'm in the process of finding a place to publish my first collection. Life is good!"

I have a small "street" ministy, am a Chaplain with Chaplain Fellowship Ministries based out of Texas. Just try and walk where God leads me and let me tell you I have some adventures.

Have 3 children, Yvette, 39, Chris, 34, Nic, 32. Yvette was in the medical field, now a stay-at-home Mom with my first grandchild, my darling Tahali who is 2 1/2. Chris is in retail and Nic is the lead singer with The Hillbilly Casino in Nashville, TN. If any of you visit Nashville, be sure and check out the Blue Grass Inn on Friday nights. They are there when not touring and they also play during the week at the Opryland Hotel. They will be in Greenbay, WI for New Year's Eve at the Oneida Casino.

I was married to 30 years, unfortunately, that ended in divorice. However, I am married to a wonderful man, Smokey, now for near 13 years. We have 3 kitties, love them a lot. They are all boys and one is a Red Persian, Remington, Black Persian, Cassanova, and Blue Persian, Sweet William.

I am a breast cancer survivor, had a lumpectomy in March of 2006. Only had to do radiation and am on Arimidex and doing great. My faith sure got me through this great. I awoke from surgery singing, "I Saw The Light" and "Amazing Grace," and the nurses had a ball laughing.

My husband has been target shooting for years and, finally, I decided to try. Well, I shoot a 357 Dan Wesson Magnum with an 8" barrel and won a trophy. Nic calls me his "pistol pack'in mama."
