Years back Andrews had Class Representatives from each year to organize and communicate with each class. This method worked really well so we are bringing Class Representative back!
What is a Class Rep?
- A Class Rep will be in charge of keeping up-to-date contact information on Alums from their year including e-mails addresses and forwarding them the our contact at Andrews-Osborne.
- Organizing Class Notes and e-mailing them to me (Bonnie Listak Diczhazy '88) for the monthly Class Notes Blog Entry.
- Being the "Point Person" for questions and concerns about Alumnae events like Reunions, Founder's Day, and the Legacy Luncheon.
Why do we need Class Reps?
- Simply put it's to hard for 1 person, or 2 or 3 for that matter to organize and compile information on over 70 Classes (That's a lot of people)!
- Reunions, Reunions, Reunions! Currently The Andrews Alumnae Association hosts 2 major events, Founder's Day and the Legacy Luncheon. During Founder's Day we highlight reunion classes (50th Year, 20th Year, 10th Year) etc. We do this because Andrews is a small tight-knit community and it's nice to see alums from a span of years rather then just your own graduating year. However we also understand the importance of having a "Class Reunion" just for one specific class. Here's where the reps come in to play. We need someone to organize Class Reunion events around either Founder's Day in Feb. or the Legacy Luncheon in Sept. These events could include a class lunch, a tour of Cleveland, wine tasting, picnic, campus tour, etc. Or you can come up with your own event.
How do I become a Class Rep?
- It's very easy! Just send me an e-mail at bonnie@andrewsalumnaeassoc.com
- We would like 2 Class Reps per year. Your name & e-mail address will appear on our Class Reps Page so that alums can contact you. If you don't have an e-mail address let us know and we will work something out.
- We look forward to hearing from you!
