Save the Date! Legacy Luncheon Sept. 27th, 2008

Save the Date! On September 27th, 2008 the Andrews Alumnae Association will hold the annual Legacy Luncheon. The luncheon raises money for the Legacy Scholarship Fund to help cover the cost of schooling for an Alumnae's family member (such as a Granddaughter, Daughter, Niece or Sister), which will allow them to continue the Andrews Tradition.  When this scholarship was started, we had two sisters apply, whose Grandmother, Mother and two Sisters had graduated from Andrews.  This past spring we awarded seven students Scholarships in the amount of $1,200 each for the 2007-2008 school year.

Although September seems miles away it’s important to get the word out early. Each year a committee of volunteers is needed to organize the event. In addition we are looking for donations for the auction itself. These donations can be monetary or gifts for the auction. Consider donating a gift basket, event tickets or a gift certificate. Being part of this event is so easy, yet the rewards are so great. As the Andrews community grows we want to be able to continue the tradition of the Legacy Scholarship for years to come.
