I Guess I Didn't Miss Anything At The VMA's

A few days ago I mentioned that I would not be watching the VMA's because I really didn't want to see Britney Spears lame performance. I must be psychic because apparently Britney bombed. My advice to Britney is buy a house in Idaho, forget show biz, raise your kids and be a nice normal person. Your kids and the public will thank you!

Don't Take Off My Soap Opera To Show Sports

Today I had just sat down to lunch and turned on CBS to watch The Young and the Restless and darn it wasn't on. They were broadcasting some sort of sporting event. I believe it was Tennis. HELLO! In the age of ESPN and ESPN2 and EPSN3 could you not stick to the sports channels and not invade my soap. Come on Ji Min was just killed and Phyllis is in jail. Now if you're my Mother-in-Law you would chastise me for wasting my mind on Y & R and shove a library book in my face. Well I am here to stick up for all the women out there who watch soaps. I work hard and if I want to spend 1 hour watching Jack Abbott and Brad Carlton duke it out that's my business. Soaps are a fun way to escape the stress of the day and unwind, kinda like sports for men! So I am asking PLEASE do not take off Y & R for tennis or any other sports for that matter. Just flip over to ESPN!

Why I Won't Be Watching the VMA's This Year

Why on earth MTV would choose Britney Spears to open this years VMA's is beyond me. With so many talented, generous, spectacular people to choose from MTV wants to slum it with Britney. Even if you ignored her media fiasco's in the past year you can't over look one important fact. What has Britney done lately? Nothing! OK I think she might have released an Internet song but aside from some lame attempts to rejuvenate her career she has nothing to offer except ridiculous scandal's that may or may not even be true. So MTV you blew it! I think I'll go watch a block cheese ripen instead of Britney that night, it's sure to be more interesting!

Let's Make August 13th Boycott Lindsay Lohan Day

As if we don't have enough to worry about in our lives every media outlet in the country and overseas in making darn well sure that we know exactly what Lindsay Lohan is doing at the precise moment. You know what? I don't care anymore. So let's make Monday August 13th Boycott Lindsay Lohan Day. I figure she could use a break from the media and it will give use a chance to clear our heads and find out whats going on in Iraq or something.
